The students of Virasat Club under the guidance of Mrs. Anju Badhwar, Incharge, Heritage Club, organized an awareness campaign ‘Walk For Water’ on 5th May 2011 in the school premises. The campaign was flagged off by our Principal Mrs. Sangeeta Saxena. Ms. Raka Kaul, Senior HeadMistress and Ms. Shailini Jerath, Middle Wing Headmistress, also graced the occasion with their presence.
The students of class X walked around the school premises with posters and banners to spread the message of conservation of water as the theme of the World Heritage Day. The students distributed pamphlets to every class to make the fellow students aware about the do’s and don’ts of water conservation.
A special banner was also put in the staffroom to sensitize teachers towards the cause. The children also checked taps in the school to see whether they were all in good working condition.
