Collage Making competition organised by IIPM

Event Organised By IIPM
An workshop was organized by IIPM on 23rd  April 2011 for class XI and XII students. There were two events- Discover the Diamond in you & Clear the Nuclear . The purpose of the first event was to help students identify their actual strengths and weaknesses and second was to sensitize the students towards the theme “Clear the Nuclear” in the form of a collage making competition. Team of Raghav, Sunil Thapa and Naveen of class XII(commerce) were declared 1st in this competition.
The resource person gave a good exposure to students. Students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. They enjoyed & learnt a lot from these two events.

Earth Day Celebration at Dell Facility Noida

Chiranjiv Bharati School students were invited by the DELL facility Noida to their premises to celebrate “Earth Day”. 34 students from the senior school headed by Ms Raka Kaul-Dell Consultant and Sr. Head Mistress visited Dell, Noida. The team was also accompanied by two teachers Mrs. Seema Singh, Mrs. K P Sangwan and two members of the Learning Links Foundation. Students did their Alma-mater proud by presenting a very interesting and innovative skit on ‘Conservation” drawing huge rounds of applause from Dell audience. Children put up a very aesthetic Mannequin Draping- Walk The Ramp show, wherein Himadri Mishra of Class X D won the 1st Prize for her innovative drape done out of sheer waste material like paper, rags & discarded CD’s along with her Model teammate Apoorva Piplani of IX D. This was followed by a face painting competition in which the CBS team once again came up trumps. The topic was conservation of Earth’s Resources and the 1st Prize was bagged by Sheetal Yadav and Aditi Bindal of class X D. A vote of thanks was presented by Mrs. Raka Kaul, Senior Head Mistress and Dell Consultant. Children were gifted with DELL T-Shirts and packets of refreshment were subsequently handed out.

CBS Acquires a Green Sheen





Earth day was celebrated at Chiranjiv Bharati School, Palam Vihar on 25th April, 2011 in a special morning assembly. It commenced with the presentation of a bilingual skit, highlighting the issue of conservation. The participants from the senior wing of the school, stressed on the significance and importance of a balanced and judicious use of the Earth’s resources without compromising on the needs of the future.
Mannequin draping ‘Walk the Ramp’ show was also held and drapes made of waste material were showcased to sensitize the students about the three R’s- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Children sported painted visages to highlight the issue of conservation which is the need of the hour today.
Our respected Principal, Mrs. Sangeeta Saxena released a bunch of balloons, alongwith the Headmistresses. As the green balloons symbolizing Peace and Prosperity soared high in the sky, the staff and the students applauded enraptured.

The color code for the staff was an eco-friendly shade of green, with badges to support the cause. A special staff meet during the recess was organized to lay special emphasis on the theme of conservation and preservation of the Earth’s Resources. A lamp was lit, to commemorate the occasion and Mrs. Divya Rao recited a self composed poem on conservation to sensitize the staff. A special cake in the shape of a leaf with a beautiful green hue was cut by Principal Ma’am and enjoyed by one and all.
  










World Heritage Day Celebration at CBS,PV


THE WORLD HERITAGE DAY




A special assembly was put up by class X  children of Heritage Club  “VIRASAT” on 18th April, 2011 to celebrate  The World Heritage Day .
Mrs. Anju Badhwar, the Heritage Club in charge gave the history of the special day and informed the theme for the Year 2011 – the Cultural Heritage of Water.
The students depicted the Heritage and Culture of India and Britain covering the clothing, religion, festivals and the cuisine of the two countries.
The children of the Virasat club  took the pledge :
'We the students of Virasat club will reach all and teach all to preserve and conserve the living, build and natural heritage.'
