CBS Exhibition Mesmerises All
An exhibition depicting the journey and evolution of Gurgaon from Gurugram to the Millennium city was uneveiled at Chiranjiv Bharati School, Palam Vihar by the Director of School, Mrs Mahrukh Singh on 5th August,2011. The innovative and creative zest of the Chiranjivians was appreciated by the director Ma’am and the School Principal, Mrs. Sangeeta Saxena .Parents also lauded the efforts of their wards. The aesthetic sense and the artistic flair of the children were showcased through mind blowing models, creative charts and informative  write ups. This exhibition was the brain child of the Social Science Department of the school and it presented the unfurling of Gurgaon in a truly novel way. While the heritage of Gurgaon was showcased through models recreating The Sheetla Mata Mandir,t raditional housing and the age old handicrafts bazaar, primary industries. The modern and contemporary ful of Gurgaon was highlighted through antefacts portraying Gurgaon metro, modern modes of transport loke Radio Tuk Tuk ,the IT hub the state of the art Educomp building and the replica of Gurgaon as a modern city with all its infrastructural facilities. A mock cooperative was also set up to enable the students to incorporate managerial skills. The Exhibition showcased amalgamation of historical insights, geographical inputs and principles of economics. The Cactus and Bonsai Exhibits adopted and created by the young Chiranjivians at the tastefully decorated AyurVatika also garnered a lot of praise and appreciation from one and all.
