CBSPV Hosts Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Inter School Debate

CBSPV hosted the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Inter School Debate on 19^th August 2011 in the school premises. The topic for the debate was ‘The Government Is Non Committal About Corruption Free India’. Each school was represented by two speakers and two interjectors and almost all the prestigious school of Gurgaon participated in this competition. Each school team had one speaker speaking for the motion and one against the motion. The speakers were given three minutes each to present their views. It was riveting debate and the participants spoke convincingly and confidently. It was indeed a great forum for the erstwhile debators to showcase their oratory with appropriate enthusiasm, wit and gusto. The school Principal Mrs. Sangeeta Saxena appreciated the students for their excellent effort. The host school , CBSPV emerged as the overall champion. Arpita Sahoo of CBSPV was adjudged the best speaker and Nakul Yadav of DAV Public school sec-14 was adjudged the best interjector. DPS Maruti Kunj emerged as the runner up and DAV Sec-14 emerged as the second runner up. The event was managed and coordinated by the English Department of the School.
