CBS PV holds comparative analysis session of World Markets
On August 25th 2011 the commerce students of class XII had a discussion on comparative analysis of Shanghai and Gurgaon in terms of economic development. These two cities were selected because they are the two leading financial markets of the world and the discussion was held under the able guidance of Mrs. Preeti Sangwaan head of the commerce department.
Kriti of Class XII C highlighted the major milestones in the path of economic development in Shanghai. Arpita Chanana of XII C gave an insight about the journey of the millennium city Gurgaon from small agricultural town to a buzzing commercial hub However, it was pointed out that Shanghai had emerged as the more improved of the two because of the introduction of reforms that had taken place earlier in Shanghai as compared to Gurgaon. Overall it was an informative and enriching session and the students were highly interactive throughout the session .It was a goal oriented activity.
