OTHELLO

 

The students of X D very enthusiastically read, researched and wrote the script for the play Othello by Shakespeare.
It was indeed an excellent strategy to give them a free hand in choosing the role they wanted to play. After rehearsing for a week on their own they called me for refinement. It was an amazing experience for me. Each one of them performed so well that their creativity moved me to the core.
Today they performed in front of a large audience. Headmistress Senior Wing Mrs. Raka Kaul, Headmistress Middle Wing Mrs. Shailini Jerath, H O D English Mrs. Jyoti Sannoo, other subject teachers and the students highly appreciated their performance.

It gives me immense pleasure to say that the students have taken a liking for Shakespeare’s Plays. They expressed an intense desire to read other tragedies by Shakespeare.
